APPEARANCE A young man standing at five feet and 10 inches in height, weighing in at approximately 129 lbs. in weight, Shuichi is a somewhat lanky teen who has been called a few different names due to his appearance. Usagi, or "White Rabbit" had been dubbed upon him for the choice of a hoodie he loves to wear, because the hood has very long rabbit-like ears that drape down and reach to the middle of his back. He has somewhat pale caucasian skin, piercing electric-blue eyes, and messy jet-black hair. The rest of his attire normally consists of blue jeans and sneakers. LIKES

HISTORY Shuichi Aragaki has always been more of the loner type for as far as he can remember. Why was that exactly? He never truly socialized with other kids of his age. Not during school, at home, or anywhere. It was strange with how that was, even though he had managed to make new friends without really trying. It didn't bother him either way. The company was good, so he simply let them do as they please. It has always been like this during his early childhood, to his middle school years, and even during his current teens. His parents were never really certain on how to approach it as an issue, though, they loved him and treated him as their son nonetheless. However, Shuichi was always aware of how he behaved around others, and had already decided a truth that he would be aware of for all of his life. It was because of his socially awkward disposition that in a sense, most people were probably afraid of him. Not out of actual fear per se, but merely because he was so difficult to approach without feeling uncomfortable about it. It didn't matter if he already had friends, or excelled well in his studies, or whatever else that was positive about him. He just seemed to hold an aura that made others nervous around him all the time. People would apologize for feeling so uncomfortable around him, and he would simply brush it off like it wasn't a big deal. Although, truth of the matter is that it was a big deal. Inside he couldn't stand how people were driven away by him. What had he done to deserve this sort of treatment? To be reduced to a shell with a faint light crying out for attention? It as annoying. Infuriating even. No matter what words he might say in order to act as a defense for himself, there was one thing, and one thing he truly wanted: Friendship. Just one real friend. It was right then when he thought he might be reaching a breaking point, that something strange happened. Something completely bizarre to that it was simply too surreal to believe. One day when he was at home, his computer flashed with a brilliant light, a surge of electricity jumping out and hitting his cellphone. The device began to go wild, the sound of static wailing before something appeared on screen. Some kind of an application that he'd never seen, nor heard of before. "Digimon"? What in the world was going on?! However, his questions would soon be answered as his phone began to ring, already picking up and a voice coming through from the other side. "Shuichi Aragaki. I am in dire need of your help. You have been chosen to partake in this war among Humans and Digimon alike. Will you prevent your world from merging? Or will you aid the Digimon in assimilating all, and ending the existence you know?" He was chosen? To fight in a war? A war among Humans and Digimon? It was all so sudden, and completely caught him off guard. What was he going to do? What could one guy like himself possibly do in a situation such as this? Although, despite questioning his own value in something of such a grand scale, he couldn't help but feel something stirring inside. As though if he didn't do anything, not only would many innocent people be harmed, but the world as they knew it could end. It was strange that he felt like he suddenly had a sense of duty come over him. He wanted to protect the people from the incoming dangers, even if he had no true personal relations with anyone. It was as though the strange factor called 'fate' was playing a hand in all of this. Whatever it was, Shuichi would be embarking on a journey the likes of which he'd never known before. MEMBER NAME: Teddy AGE: 25 OTHER CHARACTERS: N/A ROLEPLAY SAMPLE A post from a Fairy Tail thread I participate in as Astre Chevalier They had him! Astre and Saylo's kicks had Ira pinned down. There was no way for him to escape this! That is, until he flung his arms out and pushed them backward. Astre would skid backward over the ground before moving to re-engage, only to stop at the sound of Izanagi's voice. The old man was there alongside Luxuria and Pon Pon. However, the red-head's attention was latched onto the spirits' words, his eyes soon shadowed by the bangs of his hair as he listened to what he had to say. The words cold and bitter. Not very strange befit one with Ira's attitude. After the spirit dispersed, Izanagi would step up and lecture them both as well. Speaking of how strength held no physical meaning, but was achieved through magic of the heart. And what did Astre have to say about it all? "...Is that really all you had to say?" The tone may have come off as somewhat bitter, perhaps disrespectful. However, Astre remained his firm tone, looking up and directly into Izanagi's eyes, a fist coming to rest over his heart. "A guild is a place to call home. A place which nurture's feelings and develops unbreakable bonds. Without that, my magic holds no real meaning. You speak to me of wise advice that I've already learned on my own from a family that I can and would never replace." The same arm would then lash to the side, his seriousness only more evident the more he spoke. "I mean no disrespect when I say this...but despite your wise words, I won't take them from people who don't even bother to try and understand me or my friends before hand. Ira may be right, but I certainly won't listen to someone with such a rotten attitude from the get-go. As for what we're aiming to achieve..." The Fairy Knight would squeeze a gloved hand tight, those red eyes blazing with that same unyielding fire within. "We'll continue to be Fairy Tail wizards until the day we die! The legacy I intend to fully inherent from my parents passed is merely another stepping stone on our path! I'll fight by Saylo's side to help him discover the truth behind his magic and Grandine! We'll fight together...eat together...laugh together...and cry together. Because that's the true power of magic! The power of feelings! The power of the Fairy Tail Guild! And anyone who objects can either go on about their merry way, or get beat down trying to stop us..." It was evident that Ira's words had angered Astre a bit, though at the same time, the boy did not falter. Many of his words were probably wrong as well as being right. Regardless of that, he showed that he would stand firm, eyes fixated upon Izanagi and flaring with his unwavering resolve. Needless to say, he was done making his point, and whatever happened afterwards would simply happen. "That's all I really have to say...except that Ira barks a lot louder than he actually bites. Jeez! How do you guys put up with a Spirit like that?" And then he immediately resumed a rather knuckle-headed impression of himself... |
