Sarah Ellis Nineteen Nobel S, El, Ellis Sacrifice Kudamon, Lopmon, Renamon FACE CLAIM: Female Protagonist ANIMANGA: Persona 3 GENDER: Female HEIGHT: 5'5" WEIGHT: 124 lbs APPEARANCE Sarah has a runner's build, she is slim but fit. She has reddish-brown hair and a pair of caramel-colored eyes. Her expressions vary widely, but she normally comes off as non-confrontational in appearance, and easily approachable. She has a single scar near her belly button, which has a upward curve. She typically dresses in clothing that is fairly comfortable and easy to move in, but not completely without style. She wears a lot of jackets and jeans, but won't hesitate to dress up on special occasions. On average, her hair is held up and out of her eyes, if it is down, it typically falls to her shoulder blades. PERSONALITY Sarah is a generally friendly individual. She comes off as very approachable to most, and can be very kind and helpful in times of need. She often can be seen offering help or support to others in any way she can, and will do her best to see to it that everyone is taken care of. She has strong feelings of compassion to most people, especially those she is close to. She is very devoted, which can potentially set her up to be taken advantage of. She is too caring at times, and can sometimes be known to be a bit too protective and controlling. However, on the same token, she can easily find herself in too deep when it comes to her concern of others, and easily be controlled by others without realizing it. Sarah does lack a bit of self confidence as a whole, though it isn't always obvious. She tends to doubt herself and her ability to succeed on her own terms, and therefore, puts a lot more effort into the comfort of others. This makes her have a sort of belief that most others are greater or more important than her, and she can be very self-sacrificing. Because of this, she has a hard time dealing with her own emotions, and tends to either busy herself with distraction, or avoid people all together in times of personal stress. She tends to panic rather easily, but can recover from it quickly. Sarah can be quite resourceful though. While she lacks confidence in herself, she is very good at coordinating and having groups compromise. She is quite observant, and able to pick up on some flaws in others, in or out of battle. Sarah enjoys running, and is quite agile and fit. She has quite a lot of endurance. She enjoys sports and activities that keep her moving and focused. She prefers travelling by foot than by any other method. She also enjoys reading, daydreaming, and generally keeping herself busy. She likes helping others as well. She also can have a tendency to be snarky, especially when she's feeling vulnerable. HISTORY Born in the United States, Sarah grew up in a rather strict family. Expectations had been establish since Sarah was young. Sarah was the oldest of two children, and therefore, a lot was expected of her. She had often been charged with keeping an eye on her younger brother, and because of it, grew very protective of him. Around the time the threat had happened, Sarah's family had tried their best to remain safe within their home in the state of Washington, in the city of Seattle. Sarah had been in track all through junior high and onward. She had very much enjoyed the sport, and was one of the best long-distance runners on the team. She also had a lot of fun with other sports, such as soccer, or tennis. She had quite an extensive friend group, and while she never held any very close friends, she did have a number of them. She had briefly dated a few boys in high school, but nothing had really ever been considered long term. However, despite the supposed safeguarding of the Tamers, Washington was attacked. About a year ago, these events set in motion the changing of Sarah's life forever. Severe damage had been done, to the city of Seattle. Sarah's family, along with many others, were affected by the attack. As a result, Sarah witnessed the death of their parents. She and her brother managed to flee, along with a handful of others. The refugee group made their way across the US, before meeting with thousands of others. People were splitting off and going to many different places. Sarah and her brother found themselves travelling to Japan, rumored to be one of the safest places as a giant wall was being established. Sarah had become accustomed to Tamers by now, having seen them both at home, as well as all along their travels. She found herself wanting desperately to aid them as well, despite the hard loss of her parents. She and her brother traveled long days to get to Japan, in hopes of finding a safer place to attempt to restart their life. However, along the way, their transportation had been attacked by a rogue digimon. More died, and Sarah found herself separated from her brother. She had soon found herself at her destination, despite searching for her brother. With little where else to go, she entered the city. She had spent some time searching for her brother, but soon began to fear the worst. After several months of a depressive state, Sarah has found herself in a homeless shelter for now, among a handful of other refugees. She has finally decided to attempt to get back out into the world, and get over her self-suffering, and attempt to continue with her life. She has not abandoned the final thread of hope that her brother may still be alive out there, somewhere. MEMBER NAME: RedNovember AGE: 24 OTHER CHARACTERS: N/A ROLEPLAY SAMPLE The loud crash had shaken her to the bone. Sarah was sure she had screamed at one point prior, and now, she was huddled in the corner. She could feel a heavy presence over-top of her. Her eyes opened very slowly, only to take in a frightening sight: destruction. It had come from no where. Moments ago, the sirens had gone off--they were still blaring, the only sound to be heard in the moment. The sirens indicated an impending attack from the digimon. Before Sarah laid the remains of their living room. Burning pieces of wood had fallen from the ceiling, and scattered across the room. Nothing but fire and ash seemed to be present now... Then, there was still the presence pressing against her. Everything had happened so fast, Sarah couldn't take it all in. She felt the mass against her slip to the side as she moved. Sarah realized what it was--or rather, who. The heavier man fell against the ground at Sarah's side. The man was burnt and broken as a result of the impact--a piece of sharpens wood had been thrust into his back. The blood pooled around his lifeless form as his blank expression stared back up at Sarah. "D-Dad?" Sarah choked out, completely unaware of the tears that lined her eyes at that moment. She felt an incredible fear wash over her--she felt sick to her stomach. She didn't know how to react to this event--she didn't even know what had happened. "N-No," she shook her head, trying to take in the fact that her father was gone--their home was gone--everything was gone, just like that. She screamed. Sarah bolted up in the small cot she slept in. She gasped as she felt her entire body hot with sweat. Her brown eyes darted around speedily as she tried to take in her surroundings. There were several cots like her own, each occupied by a sleeping soul. She put a hand to her head, pushing the brown bangs from her eyes. "It was only a dream," she thought, before she shook her head trying to shake the images from her mind. However, it wasn't just a dream. It was anything but a dream. It was a memory. A memory of barely a year ago. The late-teen moved the blanket to her side. She had been dressed in a simple tanktop and a pair of jeans. Her black sweatshirt had been bundled up below her to make up for a pillow. At the foot of her cot was a small bag of her belongings--it was all she had left. It was too hot in here. There were too many bodies in this small room. Sarah had been here for a few days now, within this shelter in Japan. Several others like her, having fled from home because of the constant fighting and destruction. She stepped out into the cool, night air. The door closed behind her, and she propped herself against the building. Everything had happened too fast, even though had already been so long since that day. Her hands pressed to her face as she tried to clear her head. She felt so tense, and she had no idea what to do. Every moment was more overwhelming than the last. She had lost her parents not but a year ago--then her brother not long after. They had been separated before they managed to reach the city. That was a few months ago. Now what could she do? Where could she go? "Hey," said a scratchy voice, causing Sarah to jump with a yelp of surprise. She looked over, seeing a rather thin, Asian man standing near her. "Are you well?" he asked, his voice carrying a thick, Japanese accent. After a few rapid breaths to recover from the surprise, Sarah gave a nod. "F-Fine," she assured. "Drink?" he offered a small bottle. It was clear--it must have been water. Sarah had been dying of thirst ever since she had awaken, she wasn't about to turn that down. She took the bottle and immediately put it to her lips. She nearly choked as she took the drink. "Oh my god, what is that?" she demanded, coughing slightly. It was so strong--it was a miracle she hadn't smelled it sooner. "Sake!" the man beamed. "Good, yes? It will ease your stress, young one." Sarah simply handed the man the bottle back without any further words. She only held a rather flat expression on her face. |
