Hirotos job hunt was not going very well. Everywhere he went, the position had either been filled, or they just didn't want to hire him because he was a tamer, and they assumed he would bring trouble with him. At least, that's what the twenty-one-year-old high school dropout without any references kept telling himself. He had just been turned down for the eighth time today, and decided to call it quits for now. He just walked down the street as the sun set in the sky, thinking about how he was ever going to find a job when no one in the god-forsaken city wanted to hire him. He understood that the place was a bit overpopulated, more so than ever, there had to be at least one person out there willing to hire him.
The Crabmon scuttling next to him wasn't helping his bad mood either. "I don't get why you're so obsessed with getting a job." He said, keeping an even pace with his tamer. "After all, you're mom's gone back to work, let her handle it." He added, hoping to reason with his tamer. He didn't like seeing Hiroto in such a bad mood, almost as much as he didn't like following him around the city all day.
Hiroto rolled his eyes. "I'm an adult, King. I can't rely on my mother for the rest of my life." He said. In fact, one of the reasons he wanted a job so badly was so that he could get an apartment of his own. the one he and his mother currently shared was getting a bit cramped, and the giant crab that had recently taken residence with them wasn't helping. "Besides, I like working." He added as he made his way home. Honestly, at this point, he'd settle for anything, job or otherwise, to give him something to do other than walk around Tokyo all day.
