ARTEMISIA i was in the darkness so darkness i became | just a sound in the silence "Izzy, where we going?" Ladon asked, breaking the silence that had settled between them since they first left the house. Her parents, as always, hadn’t been home; and Izzy had decided to go somewhere, carrying her violin case. It made him curious, because she’d never played the violin outside of the house before – not in the time he’d heard her play. Artemisia didn’t answer him right away, continuing on her trek to her destination. She had visited twice before and had enjoyed her time there. It was a peaceful place; very pretty with Cherry Blossom trees scattered throughout the area and the castle nearby – a sight of behold. "They say patience is a virtue." An amused smile crossed her expression as Ladon huffed a bit at her, but said nothing. She thought he probably would have crossed his arms if he could. The castle was well in sight, they only had to go deeper, closer to the center of the city. Ladon, as he glanced around, ended up looking in awe at Osaka Castle, bright green eyes taking in what he could of it. In his samurai-like armour, the dragonoid digimon thought he kind of belonged and decided he liked this place, wherever Izzy was headed. "We’re in Osaka," his raven haired tamer suddenly stated, bringing his attention away from the castle. "That’s Osaka Castle. It was first built in 1583, but it’s been renovated over the years." Artemisia stated – she had read about it, after visiting it for the first time. Ladon thought she sounded a bit like a tour guide and couldn’t help but snicker lightly. Artemisia rolled her eyes, though a fond smile appeared on her expression. They arrived at Osaka Castle Park and her blue eyes, reminiscent of the color of dusk, took in the scene, as she paused in her steps with a soft smile. Yes, it was probably one of her favorite places even with the people bustling about in the city. "Are you going to stay here or wander? If you wander, do try not to get into too much trouble." Arte stated easily, as she laid her case down to open in, taking out her violin with gentle care. Ladon thought about it for a moment, deliberating between wandering around or listening to Izzy play. "I think I’ll stay." The dragon-esque digimon stated, even as his bright green gaze wandered along the area. And then, Izzy began to play. Transfixed. He was transfixed. The soft, melancholy melody seemed to echo in the area, the few Cherry Blossom Petals that fell seemed to add something more to the mood. Ladon was enraptured with Izzy’s playing. While he worried about her sometimes, he thought the style suited her. He always enjoyed hearing her play on her violin, whenever she did so. He thought the melodies and tunes she played on the violin seemed to suit her. Soft, melancholy and sometimes mournful; despite the mood, it was still beautiful to listen to, in his opinion. Then again, Ladon was incredibly biased for his tamer so his opinions on anything she did or said couldn’t be taken into account seriously. Most of the time that is. He laid on the ground, by the opened case, eyes closed as he listened to Izzy play; something similar to a purr escaping him without a second thought. If anyone asked, no, he wasn’t purring, he was just relaxing. TAG: OPEN NOTES:anyone is welcome to join~ and THIS is what I think Arte's playing on her violin. |
