Mikhail Nazilevskii
Mikhail Zasha Nazilevskii Twenty Noble Mika, Sasha Sacrifice Data, Vaccine FACE CLAIM: Yoshino Takigawa ANIMANGA: Zetsuen No Tempest GENDER: Male HEIGHT: 5'7" WEIGHT: 146 lbs. APPEARANCE Mikhail is one who wouldn't stand out when it comes to looks nor the way he dresses. Brown hair is cut short and lays messily on his head, the bangs on the right side of his head pulled back and pinned with bobby pins in the shape of two X's. The other side lays to partly frame his face, pale skin a nice contrast from the darker colors of his hair and eyes, round and forest green in color. He wears equally green stud earrings, one in each ear - his appearance more feminine than your average male. The boy is thinner for his height, having bad eating habits taking their toll, though he's not underweight to a point where it's unhealthy... nor is he extremely well built, while muscle doesn't make itself well known on his body one can see a little big of development. His dress most often consists of either his school uniform or his work uniform. The School uniform consists of a pair of slightly loose black dress pants, a white button up shirt tucked into them, a red and blue tie that he wears slightly loose around his neck and a dark blue dress jacket over that, buttoned always. Finished with a black pair of boots or the same black pair of shoes he wears to work. Occasionally, he accents this with a green scarf wrapped tightly around his neck, especially on cold days. His Work uniform actually doesn't vary much from his school uniform. A white button up shirt tucks into black pants with the top few buttons undone, a black tie, tighter than his school uniforms, falls to a little above his belt line - finished with a pair of black shoes, the same ones that he occasionally wears to school. His relaxed clothes tend to hold some sense of class still, usually consisting of a button up shirt of sorts - his wardrobe containing many of different colors and styles - and a pair of skinny jeans and his black boots - he seems to favor these. Occasionally, he can be found in a t-shirt, but these times are fairly rare. On colder days, he'll wear a blue jacket which has three buttons on the front and buckles around his waist, under that a white zip up hoodie and once more, a button up shirt and a tie and, of course, his green scarf. Mikhail lacks the self-confidence to make himself known to other people. he doesn't trust his abilities or opinions, and hesitates with his actions and words, trying to keep himself from sticking out as much as possible. When someone interacts with him, his voice grows quiet with an occasional stutter - a timid reserve, shrinking from familiarity with others. Furthermore, when out in public, Mikhail feels and even shows a nervous tension. If someone smiles at him, he'll return the smile, however forced it may seem - he does his best to keep it warm. This also keeps him rather jumpy and easily startled by noises or actions of others whom he doesn't know. This seems to relax around those he trusts, however... even though he's still easily startled, say, if someone were to jump up behind him - and he's easily startled more than once as well. When one gets to know Mikhail, they find that he's actually rather easygoing. He's always rather hopefully and optimistic, he'll tell someone that everything's going to be alright with a wide smile and, if they're someone he cares about, offer them dinner at his place or at least tea or ice cream... something of the sort. It seems like he has no worries or things that trouble him - rather, he hides these things away. He'd rather be the one that people come to for help than the one who goes to others needing it. No matter what he's doing, Mikhail always puts a lot of thought into it. Whether it be his photography, making dinner, buying a gift for another or anything else. He's also thoughtful to the emotions and feelings of others, being careful with his words and actions, when he does speak or act, so that he doesn't hurt others. He also always seems to have those he cares about on his mind - if he sees something that reminds him of one he loves, he'll buy it and give it to them as a gift, provided that he can afford it. Being thoughtful isn't always a good thing. Mikhail often appears to be stuck in a daydream when he's walking about or if he's left alone, he tends to stare off into nowhere with a thoughtful expression - getting lost to his music and thoughts. Though he may see this as another good thing to keep people from bothering him, it often finds him not paying attention to where he's going or to things he's doing, and he tends to miss things - and this frustrates him to no end... and drives his perfectionism nuts. Speaking of perfectionism... Mikhail has a disposition to regard anything short of perfection as completely unacceptable when it comes to things he does. If one little thing is off in a picture he takes, he scraps it and retakes it until it's perfect. If he cooks something for a minute over, he'll work to remake the dish. If a picture in his home is crooked by even the slightest, he must fix it. However... he tends to be rather negligent about this when it comes to himself, tying in with his neglectful behavior on how he takes care of himself. Though, this behavior also makes the boy rather punctual - he can't stand to be late. Rather keen with using cunning and watchfulness in the face of danger rather than acting is something that often gets Mikhail in more danger. Being a person who won't fight back when he's in danger unless asked often finds the boy with a scrapes and bruises or, in more dangerous situations, bleeding cuts or broken/cracked bones. However, this also has him carefully guarding his things when he's out, being rather distrusting of others. Where Mikhail lacks the will to use his fists, he makes up for it with his cunning. The boy is surprisingly smart, and uses this genius to help get himself out of situations where his fists refuse to talk - though this is more often with his actions rather than his words. He enjoys coming up with inventive uses for his intelligence when it comes to escaping traps or even hiding away... or perhaps even setting a trap to prevent people from following him. While Mikhail hates to use it, he knows he has strength, and isn't afraid to throw a punch or two if he absolutely has to to protect those who his heart has come to love and treasure. Though these people are few and far between, and it's rather difficult to become viewed as such by the boy, Mikhail would risk his own life for these people, even if he may become regretful of his actions of hurting another later. If someone were to ask the boy to do something, he'd do it - and in a timely fashion as well. This often puts him in a place where others rely on him to be the one to bring materials to a project or to help them out. Despite his unwillingness to talk or act around others, he doesn't hesitate to help when he can... even if he won't speak a word when doing so. This also makes him a diligent worker, caring greatly for his duties. However, rather than neglecting his duties or other things, Mikhail has a careless habit of tending to... well... not take care of himself. He'll spend more time worrying about getting his projects done or making sure things are done at work or even making sure that others are faring well than he does making sure he's eating or not getting sick. He keeps personal hygiene up, however - he can't stand not bathing for any less than once every two days. However, this careless behavior of his often finds him sick, or at least walking around with a stomach ache. If you're not someone who Mikhail has let in, the chances of you learning things about him are slim to none. His words, actions and behaviors release little to no information as to who he is or what he has done. This leads a lot of people to not trust the boy, wondering if he's hiding a deep, dark secret within, when really it's his reserved and shy behavior that prevents him from talking or acting - resulting him to possess a mysterious air to him around strangers. However - Marked by genuineness, free from dishonesty and adulteration, Mikhail is a near perfect picture of innocence. He can't bring himself to lie to people, and if it comes to a point where he can't tell the truth, he'll fall quiet and will refuse to talk. He can't bring himself to gossip, nor can he bring himself to stand listening to it. When it comes to people he trusts, he shows great depths of genuine feeling outwardly expressed - he's surprisingly affectionate. Anger doesn't seem to be something that Mikhail is capable of. If someone else were to do something that would make any other being angry, Mikhail would shrink away and fall to himself - remaining quiet and staring at the floor or excusing himself... even if this causes more trouble or forces him to run from the being(s) who were to cause the emotions. ---- In all honesty... my history isn't all that spectacular... I'm not sure why you're interested in it. You'd be better going off and finding a good book to read. W-what? No... I don't want to bore you, that'd be - a-are you sure? Well... Okay then. I'll try to make this quick, I don't want to waste any more time than what's already being spent. I was born in Russia, Moscow, to be exact - I grew up there as well, stayed there until I came to Japan. I had no interest to go anywhere else, honestly. My parents divorced when I was young, I've only seen pictures of my blood father, but it doesn't bother me as much as it does most children who's parents divorce. When I was eleven, my mother found a new lover and remarried. They're happy together and our life is good, who am I to complain? However, before my mother met him, she didn't seem to be... well, happy. I worked hard in school to try and please her, I even picked up the violin at a young age to try and make her smile before she met my step-father, though it feels wrong to call him that since he's so kind. I've actually never thought of him as any less than my biological father, really... especially since he makes mother so happy. Both of them encouraged my musical talents and urged me to continue to better myself, which I was more than happy to do. I never had any friends, only people who I'd consider acquaintances... It's hard to be friends with people who tend to tease and make fun of you. I was always a little feminine, something my parents told me wasn't a bad thing, but sometimes I doubted that. Regardless, I didn't see a reason to change myself - why should I change myself to meet the standards of others? So, I stuck to myself and spent my extra time practicing, reading or... well, I have another hobby - photography. For my thirteenth birthday, as a welcome to your teenage years gift, per se, my mother bought me a camera... and I certainly put it to good use, taking it with me wherever I went - I still do to this day, taking pictures whenever I can - I guess I enjoy scrapbooking too, to an extent... or at least making organized albums. Life was peaceful, outside of school at least. I had my fair share of bullies... yeah... I was, and still am, the kid who will come home with bruises and make up the excuse that I had fallen or walked into a door. I could tell my parents rarely believed me, but they never questioned otherwise. I'm glad they didn't... I at least wanted to save what little pride I had left. Really... most of that pride resided in my musical talents. I knew that, if nothing else, those would get me somewhere... and as I neared graduating from my high school years, they found me a scholarship into college, something both I and my parents were overjoyed with. ... life, however, had other plans. As Hong Kong fell, the world rose up in chaos... and so did my life. My parents, or at least my mother, feared digimon - and as the numbers of people paired with digimon partners rose, I prayed I'd be lucky enough to be a civilian and not a tamer to spare my parents. But of course... I couldn't be so lucky. With a digimon approaching me one day after school, sparing me from my bullies as they cornered me in a routine I had become all too familiar with, I felt my heart sink... yet a strange happiness as the creature chased the bullies away. Breaking the news to my parents wasn't easy... but I also didn't get the reaction I had expected. My mother, despite being fearful, supported me... and the call to Japan when it came to help protect the public and fight for humanity. I never wanted to be a part of this war, but I guess we can't choose our destiny - so my partner put it. My parents moved to Japan with me, but I insisted on getting my own apartment, to live away from them so my mother didn't have to live with something she was afraid of. I haven't told them where I live, and I don't plan on doing it any time soon. I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing here... I'm lost - culture shock, a language I don't understand and I'm struggling to learn, school isn't any easier either - I never planned on such a barrier being a part of my education... everything is so new... all I know, is I want to keep my parents safe. I'm not the strongest, I'm probably the weakest link there is to this war... but that won't stop me from trying.
