Wakana Hisakawa
Wakana Hisakawa Fourteen Noble Kana Reliability data - vaccine FACE CLAIM: Kawashiro Nitori ANIMANGA: Tohou Project (Series) GENDER: Female HEIGHT: 5'5'' WEIGHT: 126 lbs APPEARANCE Kana is a fourteen year old teenage girl standing at 5'5'' and weighing in at 126 lbs. She has short, neck length black hair that she often wears up in partial twin tails and has stuffed into a green cap; Kana's bangs fall past her forehead and stop just above her eyes, as well as, hang off to either side in longer strands of a face framing fashion. Her face is round in shape with a short chin and small nose, her eyes are almond shaped, dark blue in color, and large in proportion to the rest of her face; something she believes she'll eventually grow into. Her sense of fashion is simple in nature as she prefers sporty dresses and skirt/coat combinations made out of heavy fabrics and high top shoes or boots to the alternative that she witnesses most girls her age wearing. The outfit she is usually seen running around in is a skirt/coat uniform with pockets on the upper arms and chest, as well as, on the skirt itself, the coat is sea green in color lined with white laced trimming around the neckline and white lining held down with cufflinks along her fore-arms; her skirt is similar in color to the coat and falls to her knees. Beneath the uniform she usually dresses light, wearing a white tank top and knee length underskirt that is a bit longer than her over skirt and shows through at the bottom; beneath her underskirt she also wears a pair of black bike shorts. On her feet she switches between wearing ankle high dark gray boots or black high tops with long gray socks. A scavenger by nature, Kana sports a green pack on her back that's about the same size as her torso and full of just as many pockets as her uniform; it's in here that she holds the items she finds during her “trips” to the downtown area. Although not a fan of reptiles in particular, Kana's pack and cap sport the same white snake insignia. LIKES

HISTORY Kana was born and raised in the Kansai district in the district of Kyoto, Japan where she lived with her mother and father in her grandparents home from her father's side of the family. Growing up, she had a rather peaceful childhood with her parents, engaging in the local elementary school when she was old enough and attending classes daily while her father worked as an accountant in the city. Her mother was more the stay at home type and spent most of her days taking care of the house for Kana's grandparents. When Kana was seven years old her mother and father decided they wanted to have another child; it was a little while after this decision that the incidents started to occur. It was during one of the power outages that Kana's mother had gotten into an accident and resultedly lost her unborn child; the family was devastated and with her mother bordering on depression her father was forced to take a couple months leave from work in order to take care of her. While her father doted on her mother, Kana was left to the company of her grandparents, who spent a good majority of their time together telling Kana stories of their childhood and taking her out on walks through the nearby parks and neighborhood. It was during this time that she was able to really bond with her grandparents and learn a lot about them that she hadn't bothered to ask before. Kana was nine years old when it happened, Hong Kong was lost and the message from the demon calling himself Milleniummon showed throughout her school on every computer screen and television of every classroom. After the message was delivered, Kana's father arrived and took her out of class, fearful that the end of the world really had begun. When they finally returned home, the house stood empty; Kana's mother as well as her grandparents no where to be seen. Together, Kana and her father wandered through the darkened streets in search of their family, eventually, after an hour or so of searching, they found her grandparents sitting in a nearby park. Upon speaking with them they learned that Kana's mother had run off, that she had slipped out sometime during Milleniummon's message and hadn't been seen since. After they returned home, Kana was deposited with her grandparents while her father went out to search for her mother. During their time alone, Kana learned that her grandfather used to be one of the tamers, that the Milleniummon had mentioned in his speech, in his youth; although she didn't fully understand it at the time, but it was obviously important to him as he told her it could have been the main reason for her mother running off the way she did. When her father returned he was alone, he had failed in his search for his wife and had returned with a heavy heart. Kana and her father spent the next few years without her mother and as time passed the world around them slowly began to change. Monsters, known as Digimon, began to appear in the streets, causing them to remain indoors due to fear on her father's part. A little while later, when Kana was twelve her grandfather died, her grandmother following shortly after; one thing that Kana distinctly remembered about her grandfather during his final days was the constant clutching at something he kept in his pocket and the constant whispering to himself, an act that her grandmother only seemed to encourage him to do; these actions were never explained to her. After the loss of her grandparents, Kana began to venture out of the house on her own to revisit the old parks and neighborhoods from her not so distant childhood in remembrance of her grandparents; she used these walks as time to think about all that had happened so far and to gather trinkets and junk that she'd find in the streets for her growing collection. When the walls went up, Kana and her father were asked to enter the protection of the city like so many of the other inhabitants of the surrounding neighborhoods, it was here that she resumed her schooling and continued on as a middle school student after the brief break. As the year progressed, they settled into a small apartment someone in uptown Kyoto; Kana's father took up a new job and the two of them have been living within the protection of the walls ever since. MEMBER NAME: SensibleSol AGE: 21 OTHER CHARACTERS: -none- ROLEPLAY SAMPLE She was sitting in her old class room again, watching the blank computer monitor on her instructor's desk at the front of the room. This had happened before. The only difference being that the last time it had happened she wasn't alone, there were other students in the room with her, other children just like her- and her instructor, where was the instructor? Turning her head away from the black screen, she glanced around the room in a sluggish fashion, her head feeling like it weighed a ton and then some as she moved it around. Her eyes scanned the empty room and before she could wonder where they had all gone static filled the room and instantly drew her attention back to the where the monitor sat on the desk. The inky blackness that once occupied it's screen was replaced by the static snow of a severed networking system; Kana was beginning to feel that same static engrossing her very body when the face appeared through the snow and the noise cut out almost as quickly as it had begun. "Humans..." That voice. "Now that we have your attention, I will make this short and to the point, so even your simple minds can comprehend-" That face on the screen. "I am known as Milleniummon-" The speech again, she was reliving this again. The fear she felt before as a child was returning. "My kind are not demons, angels nor gods...we are much worse." As the dialogue continued, the windows lining the classroom lit up one by one with the visage from the monitor causing Kana to look away from the screen long enough to notice that the room had changed. She was no longer in her classroom, but in her old house. Every window or reflective surface was plastered with the same image, the same words repeating over and over again as she stood in the center of what was once her the family room of her grandparents home. "We are much worse-" "We are much worse-" "We are much worse-" The monster's voice grew louder and louder as his speech repeated and gradually descended back into static, causing Kana to clasp her hands over her ears and fall to her knees as she screamed. "STOP!" "We are known as Digimon." "-NA!" She heard the faintness of a voice breaking through the growing static and she lifted her head slightly, staring at the familiar wooden floors through the tears that had begun to flow from her eyes and down her chin. "Please-" "-KANA!" "-Digimon." "-JUST STOP!" "WAKANA!" She awoke with a start, her conciousness jerking back into her body almost as if she had just fallen out of bed. For a moment, she didn't know where she was as the heaviness in her limbs and the static from her dreams still permiated her ears and had a hold on her body. "Wakana!" That voice again, she turned her head slowly to the side and saw her father staring down at her, a worried look on his face. "Oh, Wakana..." he sighed and placed a cool hand on her forehead, "Was it the same?" Kana gave a slow nod in response, the heaviness in her body beginning to lift and allow her to sit up as her father continued to dote on her. "I'm sorry...the neighbors- they left their television on again and the static-" "It's ok- dad...you don't have to apologize..." Kana looked down into her lap where her hands were resting palm side up and clenched them, "I-I just need some water-" She rose at this point, her legs a little shaky at first, but after a few moments of wobbling, she managed to regain control and left her father alone in their shared room. "Ok..." Kana heard his soft reply as she made her way down the hallway towards the small kitchen and the family room beyond. Standing with her body facing the large glass balcony doors, she reached up and removed a cup from the shelf. Out of the corner of her eye, she thought she caught a glimpse of the monster from her nightmare in the reflection of the glass. She gasped and stepped away from the counter, her eyes locking on the glass door in an attempt to peer out into the darkness of the night and reassure herself that it really wasn't there. After a few seconds of stillness and no further disturbances from the window, Kana relaxed slightly and slid her cup under the faucet, hesitating for a moment before she raised it to her lips and took a sip. "It was just a dream..." she reassured herself as she sat on the floor of the kitchen and clung to her cup with both hands, "Just a dream." |
