TONIGHT, WE ARE YOUNG!
gonna set the world on fire!
Moment Music
"This seems as good a place as any..."
Stopping short of a small open area, Amanda lowered her book-bag from over her shoulder, turning her gaze towards the large headed creature that was trailing behind her. Though the sight of him munching on a candy bar did cause her to release a sigh before returning to unpacking the things in which she had brought for their time out in the woods. She wished that he would take the situation a bit more seriously, rather than in the manner of it being causal. Grunt didn't seem to understand anything about their venture today, nor was it likely that even after she explained it, would he be any more enlightened. He was indeed that simple minded, lovable, but often it drove her right up the wall.
"Cool...So...why did we come out here again? Are we going camping? OH PLEASE TELL ME WE'RE CAMPING!!"
Jumping up slightly, he accidentally dropped the partially wrapped treat from in between his claws, looking down upon it with sadness.
"No we aren't camping...We're out here because we need to find an outlet for you..."
Looking towards the teen as her back remained turned to him, a devious grin came over his face before reaching down towards the now grounded candy, picking it up as he spoke.
"An outlet...Why do I need one of those?"
Frowning, Amanda closed her eyes as she recalled the previous day that resulted in a fire within their kitchen. It had been due to the Digimon attempted to help cook. Despite her telling him that a certain roasted chicken was finished, Grunt had taken it upon himself to be sure it was completely cooked to a burnt charcoal black. When her dad had come home, he'd come to find the two standing outside on the poach, the door and all the windows to their apartment opened wide to the night as smoke still came from their home. This action, as well as a long lecture, had prompted the teenager to take the creature out into the woods. It was isolated, hardly one for any real tourist or visitors as far as she knew, and it would allow him to let out his pent up aggressions and energy against more..suited opponents.
"Because I really don't want to have to hear my dad explain to the Fire Marshall that we're keeping a fire breathing lizard within our apartment and hes incapable of controlling his abilities. You have to be able to listen to me Grunt...Otherwise we'll just get into more trouble..."
Looking over her shoulder, she could see the digimon stuffing his face rapidly what had remained of the chocolate bar, sucking the tips of his claws before blinking towards her with a blank expression.
"Heyyy...That wasn't my fault...You said that your dad liked extra crispy..."
Kneeling down, the girl simply groaned as she continued to work on unloading her belongings. For this little trip, she had taken a bucket, some blankets, and two lunchboxes for the two of them. The bucket being for any fires that they may start and for a means of stopping them. The blankets for in case they wanted to sit down, and the lunches were just when they got hungry. If she was right, they'd be back towards home close to dinnertime.
"Never mind Grunt...I swear sometimes...."
Grunt snickered nervously, walking around towards where his tamer seemed to be working. Looking down, he could see she was attempting to go over what appeared to be a list, causing him to lower his head directly into hers.
"So...Is lunch part of my outlet too? Cause I can so work up out my energy with lunch!"
Narrowing her eyes, the girl gently pushed the dinosaur's head away as she continued to go over the words on paper.
"Don't even think about it...Thats for later..."
