vesper isles FEMALE. NEUTRAL. THIRTY. HETEROSEXUAL. CREST OF STRENGTH. POLICE OFFICER. DIGIMON: LEORMON. | I'm feeling close to you maybe it's this ocean view I'm so emotional and all these stars been dancing on my head Too long too long too long I wrote a song for you I wanna sing to you But every time I'm close to you the words wanna come out but I forget |
Meet the woman protecting the city from the common criminals, serial killers and average rebellious teens looking for some sort of thrill from law breaking. Her name is Vesper Isles, a thirty year old police officer from a small town in North America who has now been assigned to Japan in order to help in their military efforts against both the Digimon threat and the people who think they can bypass the law due to all the mayhem. While her job demands her to protect the public at all costs that is not what drives the woman in daily life, instead it is to seek revenge- and through that closure -of her families death during the Hong Kong incident caused by the invading Digimon. She's currently single given the majority of her time is dedicated to finding as much as she can on those responsible for what happened in Hong Kong and the rest of her time is spent working and making sure her Digmon partner is out of trouble. Her personality is sharp and hard, layered to protect herself from feeling the pain she felt when her family had died, however deep down she is still the same girl she was prior to the incident. tl;dr A side job cleaning her local police station to pay for college brought the young Vesper Isles to the career path she is still in today. But soon after making the force Vesper lost her parents and little brother in the Hong Kong incident; they had been vacationing there when everything happened, and- due to her work -Vespers life was spared due to her inability to go with them on their family trip. She obsessed over the loss of her family and the reason for their deaths for years which is the reason why she is now stationed in Japan rather than her home town in North America. Instead of protecting the people she loves most her main focus is to find out who or what caused her to loose her family and seek her revenge to regain some ounce of closer.
FRIENDS If someone wants to be friends with Vesper they'd have to realize and not mind the amount of work it would cost to accomplish such a thing. By default Vesper isn't the friendliest person on the face of the earth nor is she all that sociable. However within all the negatives those who are able to navigate through the many layers protecting her they'd find a friendship with Vesper is nothing but positives. From their hard work they'd gain someone who would take a bullet if not more to ensure their safety, a watchful eye and a home in which they could call theirs if they so wished. They'd be treated like family which, for Vesper, is the greatest honor of all. Anything close to 'friends' without any of the work put into a friendship with Vesper would more than likely be labeled nothing more than acquaintances or colleges at best. People she works with on cases or meet at the office, those who her Digimon has befriended to get attention and those who she continuously finds causing trouble could fall under these acquaintances pretty easily.
LOVERS To be honest Vesper isn't paying much- if not any -attention to anything pertaining to love, relationships and the like. She's far too focused on both work and figuring out the Hong Kong incident to really dedicate any part of her life to some significant other. At least right away. Through constant persistence and showing her that they'll be there for her at her lowest, even help her with finding who killed her family, would probably give them major points to being in a relationship with Vesper that's not strictly work related.
ENEMIES Vespers true enemies wouldn't be the rebellious teens or common criminals she has to deal with on a near daily bases, instead they'd be those who stand in her way from revenging her family in the way she sees fit. Of course those common problems that spring up around Japan inside her jurisdiction would fall under the enemy tag but never going too far from just the basic annoyance at the trouble they're causing.
OTHER erm erm erm- so I'm up for any type of plotting anyone wants to throw at Vesper. I would actually love for her to be converted out of the neutral group and into one of the other two (personally I can't see her being a noble given her mindset is sorta just on revenge and all that angst stuff). So long as everything works/ makes senses I'm totally down for whatever, plus if there are some kinks we can figure them out and stuff. Oh, oh oh- cop buddies and sorta-kinda alright but not really people she keeps an eye on as a cop because they have horrible track records (yeah I'm talking about you all 55 thousand angsty teens doing the most in the nefarious group). |
