Emiko Tsukino
Emiko Tsukino Nineteen Neutral Emi Knowledge BlackAgumon - Blackgabumon - Blackguilmon FACE CLAIM: Shizuka ANIMANGA: Original Face-Claim (made for a Visual Novel I'm working on) GENDER: Female HEIGHT: 5 Feet and 9 Inches WEIGHT: 165 lbs APPEARANCE It’s often said that the background of a person is shown in the way they look, and perhaps those words would classify perfectly for someone like Emiko. Standing at five feet and nine inches tall Emiko has a tall and slender build frame that shows a healthy mixture between feminine beauty and lean muscle. In the end as the daughter, and therefore heiress of an important business corporation Emiko has to carry herself with a certain sense of elegance but also be able to take care of herself. Speaking of her skin, while she has a white skin the frequent escapades into the outdoors has left her with a healthy tan that nicely accompanies her looks. To get a bit further into her appearance, Emiko is fairly conscious of her features, a crop of long beautiful blond hair that is carefully maintained into a ponytail accompanies her sapphire blue-colored eyes. She’s extremely proud of her hair, often spending a bit more time than normally to make sure it’s brushed into a condition she considers presentable. Still if one was to speak about flaws in her features then perhaps there are a few details that she tries to carefully conceal. Because her upbringing has exposed her to a society where men are considered the ‘better’ side of the species Emiko is fairly conscious of her feminine features, and while she refuses to cut her hair short she does try to conceal her rather well-developed bust, for example by wearing unisex clothes, her favorite outfit being a business suit resembling a tuxedo. HISTORY Wealthy people can often be categorized in two groups. Those who are born it in through lineage, and those who forge their way into the class by ambitiousness and clever thinking. The Tsukino family is considered part of the latter. Their origins were fairly humble: Hayate was the owner of a small store within Japan while his wife Shizune was a teacher who taught the importance of careful management of economics to those wanting to go into the business sector. The two of them had met in the most common way that one might imagine: a simple business exchange. Shizune had been a colleague of Hayate’s older brother and as a gift to his little brother had been hired to teach Hayate some marketing strategies. The passion and honesty that Hayate showed in the way he managed his store was something that charmed Shizune who knew all too well that the business world was filled with clever deception and haggling. Everyone was out to get money, by any means possible but Hayate seemed somehow different. Certainly he enjoyed money and prosperity as much as any human being, but he always upheld a certain just and fair feeling, and his motto was ‘a dishonest deal is the same as theft’. It didn’t take long for the chemistry known as romance to trigger itself between the two and after two years of working together the two had married. With Shizune’s guidance the store quickly raised itself in popularity, slowly expanding into a chain of several stores with Japan, but their largest step into wealth must had been ‘that’. The time Hayate’s stores, that was famous for developing software had started to develop and Hayate’s wealth started to gather was also the time a famous corporation had been in a financial crisis. To lack money, means to lack the ability to advance and for a corporation this was equal to a slow death. The president of the corporation his decision to seek out investors was therefore a logical solution, and Hayate was one of those who took the bargain by buying some of the rights of the company. The end result? While the corporation became one of the biggest fishes in the business world the rights that Hayate had purchased skyrocketed in value, and in the end he was able to banter some of them back to the company and earn a heavy sum of money in return… to the point they became part of the upper-class in society. However, this wasn’t a time for Hayate to relax, who considered business a journey one undertook their entire life. While Shizune became pregnant with their first child he himself continued the development of their stores, turning it into a grand trading company that spread their stores all over the various continents that made up the world. It was finally after nine long months that their child, a daughter they named Emiko was born. It was obvious to anyone that Hayate wanted Emiko to someday inherit the corporation that her parents had built, and for that reason the girl’s childhood was far stricter than most children had experienced. There was little time for playing around and ‘foolishness’ like that. With Hayate’s brother hired as a private teacher Emiko was under the constant guidance of her uncle who taught her the importance of professionalism, of how to act around other people and the importance of efficient methods. Of course it was annoying for the girl, who was forced to stay inside the manor of her family who had moved to one of the more populated cities after her birth. In the end from the window in her room she often saw the children playing in the streets, but more curious was the presence of the urban legend surrounding ‘Tamers’ and the creatures in their presence that were likely called ‘Digimon’. Still perhaps this teaching method had its merits. As Emiko grown up into a young adult there was a certain difference to her compared to other teenagers of her age. Emiko could easily stand her ground bantering with the merchants of the city, often being send out to practice her knowledge and skill of economics by doing a certain test. It was simple actually: She simply had to purchase an amount of goods, up to a certain predetermined value and after a period of time sell them back for a higher value. It sounded tricky, but then again by observing the ‘supply and demand’ system one could easily see how one could earn more money in the business world. Still it also had its effects on Emiko’s nature, who due to the strict and work-orientated upbringing had difficulties expressing her emotions, often appearing apathetic or indifferent in nature. Still, it appeared that she held a certain weakness in that ‘armor of professionalism’. No matter how much she tried, Emiko couldn’t shake of the desire to be interested in the same things others did, and one of those things were the urban legends that were starting to flow around the internet. Rumors that said the recent ‘strange’ events that unfolded were all related to the beings known as Digimon… Back then she thought it was ridiculous. But Milleniummon’s invasion had made her realize how close-minded she had been. It was rather tragic, that her parents were in Hong-Kong for a business discussion with a wealthy client when the ‘invasion’ happened. When the entire city was wiped from the map and Emiko lost all contact with her parents the young woman couldn’t help but blame those accursed digimon. It was they who took her parents from her, and were about to destroy the peaceful existence the world had known till now. Of course there was little a young woman like herself could do against an invasion of monsters, so she was forced to remain within the safe confines of one of the walled cities that were protected by the Tamers. Still, what could a sudden black-out of the electricity of her computer, and the window that popped up on the black screen with the words ‘I finally found you’ possibly mean? MEMBER NAME: Tsuyuri AGE: 24 OTHER CHARACTERS: N/A ROLEPLAY SAMPLE It's from a Naruto roleplay, so don't worry if it confuses you~ Maruishi… If there was something that Akari had to say about the place then it likely was the fact that when she wasn’t on duty the place felt incredibly uncomfortable to her. A brief glance at her side where the large canine had been walking reminded her of the source of her discomfort. It were those humans, those close-minded individuals who considered her existence a taboo and forced her to always keep the concern of her identity in the back of her head. The moment she arrived at one of the more commonly traveled streets Akari couldn’t help but notice the flood of refugees and travelers who had decided to seek their fortune within Tsuchi no Kuni. “I haven’t never seen so many people, it’s like a chaotic ant nest.” Whispering softly as her eyes wandered from one side to the other a sudden bark came from the dog beside her. It certainly is pure chaos, but then again maybe that’s both a good and a bad thing. While it means there are more people to keep an eye on when you’re working it also has potential for containing people who might appreciate your friendship. A faint chuckle escaped her lips while Akari stepped forwards and with a light spin of her heels turned to face the Inuzuka dog. “Heh, friends? I doubt it will ever come to that Doggy. Besides I get all the friendship I need from you and my puppets.” Her lips curved up into the faintest of smiles before she knelt down to caress the head of the dog who seemed quite pleased by the gesture of affection. However, Akari couldn’t shake of the look of concern in the dog’s eyes. While he appreciated the affection she showered him with Hakouro did believe that something like friendship might had not been a bad idea to pursue. In the end humans were social creatures and Akari despite her condition was still a human girl at heart. “Could it be that you’re nervous?” Noticing the bit of amusement in his tone Akari pouted in return to the taunt, shaking her head firmly at the canine. As if she was going to be nervous about making friends! Who did he assume her for, some shy and meek schoolgirl?! She was a Guardian, or commonly called one of the ANBU. There was simply no way that she was going to be hesitant in a situation like that. “Of course I’m not, what do you think I am, an academy student?” The dog snickered in amusement while he retaliated with a smug grin. “You certainly look like the part.” Oh boy, did her companion just literally call her a child? Despite being clearly aware of the fact that she looked like a child, an unlucky side-effect of being inflicted with her condition it didn’t change the fact she was already seventeen years old… Almost enough to be considered a woman! “Take that back… I’m the embodiment of a youthful young lady!” The Inuzuka dog barked in amusement, clearly aware that their conversation was being noticed by several of the refugees, some even stifling a laugh at seeing what appeared to be an Inuzuka talking to their pack member. “Of course, and I’m a prince who will change into a hairy human if you kiss me.” Hearing those barks the girl laughed in return while she climbed onto the large dog’s back and hugging his neck she replied with a smile. “Alright Prince Doggy, let’s go home, I seen enough of the city today.” Nodding his head in return the canine proceeded to dart along the streams of wandering refugees. Was there no way for him to get Akari to interact with others? In the end he genuinely believed that while it was pleasant to have her attention all for himself it would make her more happy to actually interact with others. The sight of a man observing the crowds on his own stirred an idea inside Hakouro who grinned in mischief while charging toward the Shaman, barking loudly. Large dog coming through! Prepare for evacuation! If Keita didn’t succeed in getting out of the spot he was standing in within the few moments the dog had charged had him he would have found the dog crashing right into him while barking energetically. If not he’d likely have noticed the dog stopping right there with the small girl on his back swaying back and forth, exclaiming in surprise. “Why did you speed up all of a sudden Doggy?!” The Inuzuka barked happily as he nudged his snout toward the man, making Akari look up in confusion before her cheeks flushed up lightly in embarrassment. Befriend attempt number 1 initiated Akari however quickly looked from the stranger back toward the canine, her gaze repeating the pattern several moments before she spoke in a soft tone that hinted at her shyness. “I-I’m sorry about his behavior just now Oji-san.” The dog barked in retaliation while Akari glared back at the dog, replying in a curt tone. “No Doggy, ‘befriending people’ isn’t done by pouncing them with a giant dog.” The dog barked once more, seemingly amused by the counter while she looked at the man, a cursory gaze making her look for a headband of Iwagakure to see if he was a shinobi, or if he possibly was one of the refugees who came here recently. Her own headband was easily to spot, held in the form of a scarf around her neck. “U-Umm I hope we aren’t disturbing you?” Of course she was disturbing him, in the end ambushing him with a giant dog and then introducing herself seemed to fit the bill of a ‘disturbance’ very well. “It seems he’s been rather eager to meet new people lately and the influx of strangers within the city has only stirred him into being more active than normally.” The dog shook his head lightly in return. Silly girl was misunderstanding his intentions! He wanted her to befriend others! |
