DIGITAL LOVE OPEN | 893 | BIG BAD BAALMON Dani found herself a little surprised that Melina was sharing all this with her. Sol himself knew that it was probably to fill in her Digimon, though while he and Dani were around was a mystery to him. The Guilmon decided to simply scout ahead with Tsubaru, unsure if Dracomon had friends that had followed him into the Digital World. He still didn't trust the dragon Digimon, even though he was a Bebydomon currently and couldn't do too much damage. Melina continued her explanation of their family, Dani listening quietly as Sol kept pace with Tsubaru. Dani really wasn't sure how she would've reacted if she was put in Melina's position. Her parents were gone a lot, sure, but if anything had happened to them she wasn't sure what she would be able to do. She quietly put her hands behind her back as Melina continued, a frown forming on her face in thought. Sol hadn't been expecting the pat from Tsubaru, the Digimon looking at the boy wide-eyed for a moment. Once his nerves calmed, the Digimon lowered his fin ears to enjoy the petting a bit more. He gave a soft smile towards the young boy, before focusing back on where they were walking even though he wasn't sure where Tsubaru and Melina's home was. The truth about the sibling's father hurt Dani. How could any father do such a thing to their children?! It didn't make any sense to her. Possibly because her own family had never acted like that, despite it's own problems. She couldn't really relate to their sad history, but she did feel for them. She found herself at a loss for words. Of course their father still cared about them, but that home life wasn't ideal. Maybe if Dracomon was there it'd be easier on them. The little Digimon could protect them, but it was probably better they lived with their aunt. Dani lived by herself with Sol in Japan, but at least Sol was only unpleasant sometimes. She'd grown used to the red Dragon Digimon's company that thoughts without him definitely weren't in her head. The thought of simply leaving everything made her heart hurt. Melina and Tsubaru certainly were to be admired... She nodded to herself, ready to say some words of encouragement before someone else spoke. It wasn't anyone in the group... so who was it? The girl looked around for the source of the nasty voice, already spewing harsh words at the sibling's mercy. "Hey, that's not nice!" Dani called out to the creature, before it finally revealed itself. Sol immediately got on guard once the creature showed itself, curling his lips back to show his rows of sharp canines. The creature definitely didn't look friendly, especially with that sneering smile. The red Dragon was already preparing a Pyro Sphere, though Dani was quick to shut his mouth this time. "Hey! I thought we talked about this!" Dani hissed to the Digimon, who growled in the back of his throat. He didn't have time for this! It was a hostile Digimon! Of course with the mention of making them suffer only agitated the Guilmon further. Dani bit her lip as she held onto her Dragon Digimon, unsure of what to do really. Would this Digimon comply to her words? She was almost starting to wonder if any Digimon did listen to her. Before she could even move the group was easily levitated into the air with a wave of the Digimon's hand. She found herself rendered immobile, no matter how hard she struggled. She was already holding onto Sol's mouth, so the two were even further rendered useless for now. The Digimon pick pocketed each person before finally letting them free, Dani and Sol crashing into the concrete with a loud thud. Dani finally sat up after the Digimon mentioned stealing from Auntie too. Dani couldn't let that happen, not to her new friends! But what could she do? "Um, excuse me, mister Digimon, could you please give us our stuff back? We don't want to cause trouble, besides what did we ever do to you?" The girl pleaded with the other Digimon, though Sol rolled his eyes. There was no way that Digimon was going to let them have their things back. Sol was still injured from his fight with Dracomon, but the Digimon could still fight if he needed too. "Dani, thou has to fight." Her digimon glanced at her, though she shook her head. "No we don't! We can resolve this peacefully." She frowned back at her Digimon, who gave a sigh. There was a chance they could beat him, but it wasn't very likely. This Digimon was powerful, and only Bebydomon and himself were the Digimon around. Before he could send out a surprise attack, another voice called from the entrance of the alleyway. A boy and his Digimon, another Dragon type that Sol recognized as Monodramon. The boy had called out to the Digimon, so he must've been on their side. Before Dani could say a word, Sol took the opportunity to fire at Pyro Sphere while the Digimon's attention was diverted from the other boy's yelling. "Pyro Sphere!" It wasn't a spot on hit, but hopefully the Digimon had been distracted enough to get hit. |
