Michael kept his head down and his headphones wrapped tightly around his ears as he moved through the busy streets of Tokyo, his backpack slung across his shoulder as he moved around and past people. His music was playing so loudly that he couldn't even make out the overwhelming sound of the people around him, but while most people would find it hard to think with music playing that loud Michael was able to work through it perfectly. His thoughts? They were on the Digivice that rested inside of his backpack, it had been at least three days since the thing appeared inside of his room which meant sooner or later he'd find a Digimon calling him partner. The idea was honestly a little off setting to the young man, out of everybody in the world he didn't think he'd be one of the people picked to have a Digimon as a partner. He didn't think that someone was so quiet and hardly talk to anybody unless he had to would be picked as a Digimon Tamer, that was the right term for it right? A tamer? He sighed lightly and took a turn to his left heading towards the local coffee shop he visited whenever he was finished with school for the day. Well it was more like whenever he was finished with school for the night, because the moon was high in the sky and the bright lights of Tokyo made it seem almost like it was morning. He had been here for the past four years of his life and he still hadn't gotten use to that, how Tokyo seemed so much prettier during the night rather than the day.
Michael's feet came to a stop as his eyes caught sight of the coffee shop he commonly went to, the place was...kinda empty today. That was certainly odd, normally the place was filled with people that he had a tough time even finding a seat. He could only give a roll of his eyes as he finished his walk there opening the door and having a light bell ring singling that he had entered. Now that he was actually inside of the place instead of looking in from the window he could see that it really was empty, aside from him and the person working their was only three other people in the place. "Odd..." he muttered before moving towards the front counter and ordering himself a hot chocolate along with a beagle, the items he ordered were quickly given to him and he began to move towards his favorite seat in the back. He didn't make it very far though before making a fool of himself and tripping over his own two feet, his hot chocolate going flying out of his hands and spilling all over some poor fellow in front of him. Michael blinked before lowering his headphones, "I'm so sorry."
