VERONICA JUNIPER
Veronica Juniper Eighteen Noble Whatever. Crest (mod will fill out) Lopmon, Renemon, or Patamon FACE CLAIM: Shana ANIMANGA: Shakugan no Shana GENDER: Female HEIGHT: 5’0’’ WEIGHT: 126 lbs APPEARANCE Veronica is an averaged sized adult, who has a rather classy sense of style. Her clothes usually range in things you could wear to work if you wanted, though she tries to dress for the occasion. If the scenario allowed, she would wear job appropriate clothes, the type that would get you the job you applied for. She never wears pants, and prefers to wear skirts over dresses, but anything other than pants are the types of lower garments you would see her wearing. She tries to avoid heels for any other occasion that when it is absolutely necessary. You never know when a girl may need to run, and heels do not help in the least. Veronica loves accessories on her hair. They are among her favorite things, and she will not even think about choosing an outfit that doesn’t have a hat, bow, or headband that goes with it. Big, small, anything that covers her head is great. It’s not like she hates her hair of anything. On the contrary, she loves playing around with it and putting it up in different styles and such. She just cannot resist putting a hat on her head, or a bow, or some kind of cute accessory. Of course, that all changed when she actually witnessed it happening in her own house, the day her mother vanished. She couldn't say it happened right before her eyes, but they were talking while it happened. Veronica wasn't too focused on the conversation until she realized that her mother wasn't talking anymore. The teen never heard the door open or anything, so she just assumed that she was still in the house. LIKES

HISTORY Veronica has had a past of self indulgences, bad decisions, and lots of fun. What was the only thing missing in her life? Oh, maybe receiving any consequences for her actions. Well, that is, until recently. You see, Veronica Juniper didn't live in an unusually rich house, but she still managed to grow up rather entitled. Her parents would constantly pay an arm and a leg to make her happy because of the way she was born. Her parents always made Veronica well aware that she almost died in childbirth, so she constantly used that fact to her advantage. Her parents, though her mother could handle it better than her father, neither one of them could handle the guilt of seeing her like that as a baby. Thus, Veronica tended to get away with a lot more than when she didn't. She had a way of keeping their feelings low just to make sure she got whatever she wanted however way she wanted. That is, until the aftermath of Parasimon ensued. Of course, she wasn't aware of him at the time, but all of this happened after his supposed defeat. The worst time of her life. She was thirteen at the time, almost fourteen when it happened. People around the world were vanishing, so the European news informed. However, Veronica brushed it off as some kind of joke. After all, there was no way the media could ever be trusted. They were probably just spreading some conspiracy rumors for a quick buck. However, as more time passed, Veronica began to panic. She looked into the living room, the kitchen, the dining room, but she couldn't find her mother anywhere. Finally, she gave up trying to look for her, and instead ran to the phone and got her father's attention. Of course, the British man got there in a flash, very much aware of the rumors, and the two decided to call authorities. Veronica and her father both got out of the house out of the suggestion of the authorities as the British investigators checked the home to see any sign of the woman. They asked Veronica if she was certain that her mother hadn't just gone to pick something up or anything of the like, but she insisted that her mother did no such thing. With that, the authorities wrote this off as another mysterious disappearance. They apologized to the Junipers, but they weren't able to explain to them what happened, nor were they able to bring the woman back. The father and daughter duo didn't feel safe in their own home, so they decided to leave it the way it was and move to another home elsewhere. However, their minds had to be changed because her father couldn't get his boss to grant this move. He was very important to the company, so he simply told his daughter that he was going to send her to his Aunt in Japan. He had an Uncle who traveled to Japan, got married there and settled down. Unfortunately he died very young from a plane crash, so his widowed wife, who was very eccentric but sweet, was the sole person living in the house there. So, as much as she tried to have the situation be otherwise, Veronica was flown over to the island of Japan. She had been living in that island ever since. It wasn't too long after that, since she sixteen when she was flown to Japan, that the monsters made Hong Kong vanish and things became even more chaotic. Everyone saw the message it seemed, and Veronica felt as if no one was safe now. She tried to explain her pessimistic attitude to her great aunt, but she had no intentions of keeping her head so low to the ground as Veronica. So it seemed as though Veronica was alone in the universe. Not that she wasn't used to that. Now adays nothing strange seemed to happen to her. She's getting settled in a new school, a new setting, and not catching anyone's attention in friends. Hey, it wasn't that she wanted any. Wait... Is that an egg on her desk? Where did that come from? Oh, yeah, well that egg just came out of the computer in little particles of data right under her nose. Well, that's new. Neat. MEMBER NAME: cynda1 AGE: 20 OTHER CHARACTERS: None ROLEPLAY SAMPLE Shadow’s mind was that of slush. Nothing was clear to him, everything was spinning, and his vision was engulfed in complete darkness. At least, that was how it usually was when he blacked out. However, this was quite a bit different because all he could see was chaos. The moment each bizarre image, if you could even call it that, disappeared, he forgot that he even saw it. All he knew for certain at that moment was that he had no idea what was happening, and that he was completely exhausted. This twisting and turning of strange images made the hedgehog less than comfortable, to say the bare minimum. And still, he couldn’t get himself to snap out of it. It was all so strange it was hard for him to tell what was even happening. He heard a distant voice, or at least what he thought was a distant voice, before being distracted by an image he recognized all too well: the blue blur himself. The black hedgehog honestly didn’t know if he was pleased to see him or not, but perhaps he could take recognizing someone who wasn’t out to kill him as a good thing. Shadow heard Sonic say something, though it took a while for him to make out what they were. Based on his expression, Shadow’s arch rival wasn’t too impressed with him. He seemed to shake his head, and ironically enough, it wasn’t until Sonic turned his back to Shadow did the Ultimate Lifeform finally understand what the Fastest Thing Alive was saying. “You keep calling yourself the ‘Ultimate Lifeform’,” the blue hedgehog seemed to taunt. “What does that even mean? You claim that you’re so much better than the rest of us, that you’re supposedly incapable of flaws.” Sonic looked over his shoulder, giving the already exhausted hedgehog a demeaning smirk that was oddly unlike him. “All I see is a hedgehog who can’t get out of my Shadow.” This taunt boiled Shadow’s blood beyond recognition as he tried to push himself to his arch rival, but for one reason or another he didn’t have the strength to push himself even in a crawling position. Just as Sonic was about to walk away, leaving Shadow wanting vengeance, he saw the Biolizard suddenly appear, landing in front of the blue blur. This caused Shadow to completely forget his thirst of vengeance and try to tell Sonic to run away. Only problem was he couldn’t talk loudly enough for Sonic to hear. Shadow yelled to the point where his voice should have been straining, but instead, nothing was coming out. Sonic didn’t even seem to notice the monster when the beast prepared to attack the hedgehog. No! Shadow couldn’t let that happen! Shadow forced himself into a standing position only to fall back down in a growl. This wasn’t working. He had to… no. Shadow looked up at the spot Sonic once stood and realized it was too late. “Why’d you let me take your rings?” a growl like voice said. Looking around, Shadow realized that the Biolizard had to be talking. But that was impossible. The lizard wasn’t designed with that function that was part of the reason why it was so uncontrollable. This meant that there were only two possibilities. Either this strange new world affected his foe in more ways than one, or none of this was real. As the lizard approached Shadow, the black hedgehog thought over the things Sonic had said before vanishing. It was clear to him that nothing Sonic said matched the character that the blue blur portrayed to his friends, rivals, or even the Doctor. He certainly wouldn’t demean Shadow of all people like that, now would he? The hedgehog was cocky, but he wasn’t an idiot. This was a mess of a dream, and Shadow knew he had to wake up from it. Scrunching his eyes together, Shadow only opened his red eyes for a moment to see quite the horrifying sight: a Biolizard face formed with Sonic’s. In a growling tone mixed with Sonic’s own voice, Shadow was left with one final message. “You are not real!” And with that, Shadow was instantly awoken, eyes widened and cold sweat streaming down his forehead. With a gulp, Shadow looked around his line of sight before catching sight of a blonde haired teenager kneeling next to him. With a bit of a growl and untrusting glare, Shadow moved himself away from the boy and got into a fighting stance. Shadow was just unconscious, there was no telling what this boy was up to. “Who are you?” he demanded threateningly. “What are you doing here?” This boy would have to answer carefully. Shadow was agitated enough as it was before he had that dream. Now he was simply inconsolable. |
