The first layer is two sweeps of hair that fall down to frame either side of his pale face. The remainder of his hair sort of poofs up behind him in a manner vaguely reminiscent to the hind end of a duck. Reference this, however, and you will get a good punch to the face. He is not a duck. He is a human. He has onyx eyes that are often either hard as obsidian or near molten with emotion. As far as his complexion goes, he's rather pale considering that he spends so much time outside with horses. His arms and chest are rather toned, the muscles turned into little less than steel cords from pushing around two ton animals all day for a living ever since he was sixteen. In spite of this, however, he still has quite a bit of a feminine figure, particularly a certain curve to his hips that hearkens back to a woman vaguely. He stands five foot six inches, but when taken in conjunction with the fact that he only weighs one hundred and twenty-eight pounds, it's not hard to see that he's a little underweight, stemming from the fact that he will sometimes have to skip a meal so that he can work harder or save up a little money to continue to live on his own. Covering Alexander's forehead is a dark blue headband with a silver plate that has a swirling leaf design on it. He likes to wear blue or black short-sleeve riding jackets over white tee-shirts, though he will also wear plain tees when he's on his own time and not having to work down at the stables Usually he adds in a pair of black- or blue-trimmed white arm warmers to complete the look, along with a pair of black or white shorts - when on his own time - or some black blue jeans - when at work at the stables - and blue or black Converse shoes. He also has a pair of black leather riding boots, but he doesn't usually wear them outside the barn because, despite the fact that they're broken in, they look absolutely horrible along with the shorts. On the few occasions where someone manages to catch a glimpse of his midriff, they will notice a piercing in his belly button. He's also been contemplating a tongue piercing, but he's never had the money to do so, never mind that it would be a horrible risk to do so while working with the horses. Honest;; Alexander isn't the type to betray someone, and when asked for his opinion, he'll respond with the truth, no matter if it's hurtful or not; it's a result of his own conception coming from an affair, and the pain it had put him through is something he feels no one else should have to go through if he can prevent it. Tight-lipped;; Of course, that last bit was all assuming Alexander was willing to talk because the fact of the matter is that usually the male actually doesn't wish to tell anyone anything and getting information out of him is like pulling teeth with your fingers: almost impossible. Strong Moral Base;; Alexander holds himself to high standards, and with a clear sense of right and wrong, it's rare for him to do anything that goes against those ideals that he holds close to his heart, though to keep himself independent, sometimes he's forced to do things he doesn't really want to do. Great tactician;; Alexander is well-versed in the strategies of battle, whether he wanted to be or not, and as a matter of fact, he has quite a head for it when he turns his mind in that direction, which can come in handy whether he's involved in a fight or just trying to figure out how to best corral three ornery horses that have escaped. Passionate;; Alexander has a lot of fire in him, and he's not the kind of person to do things halfway, pouring his heart and soul into everything he does, and as such, he will exhaust himself with his work simply because he puts so much of himself into what he chooses to do. Brave;; Alexander isn't afraid of a lot of things, among them being death, and he won't let something stop him from doing what needs to be done, and indeed, he would rather be on the front lines than sitting about behind the scenes far from the action simply because it's "not in his blood". Arrogant Prideful;; Alexander has firm confidence in his own ability, and as such it doesn't usually occur to him that he might not be able to take on something on his own, though with the fact that he's a little used to fighting for what he wants in life, he's not really in too much danger... right? Rebellious;; Alexander has no problems with standing up to authority, even though he's still little more than a kid, and he's got the tongue and the urge to disobey authority figures in his life if he doesn't want to listen to them. Headstrong;; Give Alexander an inch, and he'll run a mile, all because he's very proud of being able to do his own thing, and he's the sort of person who doesn't really back down when he gets pressure from others. Vengeful;; Alexander can be downright mean when he feels he's been wronged, and when that happens, he will do whatever it takes to feel like he has repaid the slight in kind to whoever bestowed it upon him in the first place. Impulsive;; Alexander does a lot of things simply on a whim, and while sometimes this can keep him safe because he doesn't follow a set schedule to make himself a target, this can also lead to him acting rashly as he does things he really shouldn't such as deciding to pig out on sweets simply because he wants to. Stubborn;; Alexander won't give up because someone tells him to or because he's experienced a setback, and as a result, he will do whatever it takes to get things done his way even if it's not the best or most efficient way to do it, but by that point, it's about his pride, not the output. Predictable;; To those who know Alexander, he acts in a manner that's fairly easy to anticipate, and although he can still take people by surprise on little things, most of the time it's pretty easy to figure out what it is he plans to do and to react to it accordingly. HISTORY Alexander's mother was a young American woman in Japan who had been employed by the Katashi family for years. She had been the secretary to the CEO for a long time, and unfortunately, she became the "other woman" in his marriage to his wife. Despite the boy's mother first having Nicholas, Alexander's older brother, it was not until Alexi was born that the wife found out about her husband's infidelity, having caught them being intimate on the desk shortly after his conception. He was born six months before his half-brother Haru, and although the wife was furious, her husband refused to fire his secretary, stating that she was the best secretary he'd ever had. Alexander had no father figure as he was growing up, the closest thing being Nicholas, who took on the responsibility of raising his little brother while his mother worked to try to provide for them. They spent a large amount of time struggling to support themselves, the Kain family was still a little broken. Alexi clung to his older brother stubbornly and was a Mommy's boy to the core, always wanting them to be there with him. When he was six, however, in the daycare at the work place that he stayed with Nicholas, he met Haru, and immediately the two boys hit it off, playing well together. That signaled the first change in his life. His mother had more money to be able to support him, and he had to help support Haru. The two were big in online gaming and created their own blog, RuetheDay, but then things couldn't stay good for long. One of the bullies in school grew jealous of Haru's relationship with Alexander and posted that Haru and Alexander were the shames of their families because their father was a slut. Even though Alexi tried to get past the pain and anger, worried about his friend and half-brother, Haru refused to listen and broke it off. Left reeling, Alexi tried to lean on Nicholas for support, but the other boy wanted nothing to do with him either. The only one who seemed to want to be around the male was his young Border Collie, Brutus. Brutus was a comfort, and he stopped gaming. He began to isolate himself from the world, and as if that wasn't enough, Vivian began dating this young man who doted upon Nicholas openly but more or less ignored Alexander. The young man had been abandoned to his own devices, and it was all he could do not to break down sometimes, feeling like dirt for being an illegitimate child, and then getting hell from other children and his mother's boyfriend because he was gay. When he was fourteen, he managed to run into a small barn on the outskirts of town with a friend, and the first thing he noticed was how therapeutic the horses were. They took a shine to the young man and he to them, and it soon became common for him to just stay at the barn rather than at home with his mother and brother. And then, when he was sixteen and his mother's boyfriend got rid of Brutus, he grew furious. He had a shouting match with the man and then ran off to the barn, staying there for a week before his mother managed to beg him to come home. He only returned under the promise that he would remain only for two years and that he would be allowed a new pet, a small brown mouse he named Cassius. Cassie got along with the horses at the barn, and he officially started working for the place then, earning money, and as soon as he managed to turn eighteen, he had earned enough money to move out and get a small apartment. It was crazy trying to make enough money at the farm to be able to support himself and stay in school at the same time, but the task was made easier by a small amount of money left in an envelope at the barn once a month. He will endure, of that he's certain, but exactly what else being an illegitimate child will cost him... he's not quite sure yet.
